Creating a registry
This is a step by step guide explaining the ins and outs of our on line registry (mouse over images for larger version):
Keywords:
- "The host" this would be the person holding the function
- "The Guest" this is the person attending your event
Step 1:
The host, once logged on to www.sagiftregistry.co.za, navigates their way to the "Create Registry" bar in the Far left hand column
Step 2:
Once the host has entered the create registry page, they then select which even they wish to create a registry for
Step 3:
Once the host has entered in the required details, accepted the terms and conditions they will proceed to the next step.
Step 4:
You need to log out and log in again, with your password (this password is mailed to your e-mail address with the guest's registry code)
Step 5:
Select the registry you wish to edit and add products to and select "show"
Step 6:
You will get a message saying there are no products in this registry. In the left hand bar you will find your editable headings: "View registry" "upload your picture" and "add products".

Start with uploading an image:

Select the "add products" button in the left hand tab, this will take you to your categories page where you can select a category and start browsing your products. Once you have found a product you wish to add
you can select the number of that particular item you would like, and select the "add" button.
Step 9:
once you have selected your product, you will proceed to a "carry on shopping" or "view registry", you can continue shopping till you are satisfied with your selection, or view registry if you are done shopping. (Remember you can come back at any stage and edit your registry)
Step 10:
When you have added all your products, and select the "view registry" button, a list of all your products will appear, when your guest views your registry there will be images next to the descriptions to make for easy viewing. When you are satisfied with your selection you can log out with the "log out" button on the far left column.
